Capsule Films was formed in 2008. Based in Leeds, we produce award-winning, digital moving image. We collaborate successfully with specialist agencies and commercial businesses and brands.

Capsule offers a complete film & video production service; from initial creative concept and scripting; through all types and scales of production; to post production, digital SFX and animation.

Recently, we’ve produced projects for clients such as; Nokia, Samsung, Best Western Hotels, Kia, Mazda, Ford, Specsavers, Boots and McVitie’s and we’ve collaborated with award-winning digital agencies.

Tom Gabbutt (Writer/Producer)

Tom has now accumulated over 15 years experience in high end Film & broadcast TV production for BBC TV and as a freelancer. Working on shows as diverse as Later With Joolz and Top Of The Pops; groundbreaking Brit dramas This Life and Queer As Folk; prime-time drama series Midsomer Murders and Footballers’ Wives and feature films Shakespeare In Love and Millions.

Adrian Larkin (Director)

Originally training to be a Car Designer Adrian took an unlikely change of direction during his time at art college and decided that his hobby of playing with cameras was much more fun. While studying his MA at the Northern Film School Adrian picked up an award at the BAFTA held ‘Kodak National Student Commercial Awards’ for directing the pilot ‘Vigorsol Ice’ propelling his obsession into the short films art form.
